Community Program Registration and Volunteer Recruitment Night

Do you ever wonder what services and activities take place in your community? Want to learn about many great organizations in the area? Ready to sign up for a new sport? Excited to volunteer?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, be sure to mark your calendar for Thursday, August 20th. Why you ask? Because, we are all aware of the countless benefits that come from being more involved with the area we live in! Not only for our personal well-being but also for our community’s wellness. This is why Community Services and the Regional Wellness Team are proud to present the Community Program Registration and Volunteer Recruitment Night.

This evening works as a bridge for anyone who is curious about becoming more involved in their community! This bi-annual event, brings together many local organizations, all will have a table displaying their information and will be ready to tell you everything you need to know about their organization. Some organizations will be registering people for their next season or upcoming programs, such as the Curling Club or Junior Hockey Rec. Other organizations are looking forward to recruiting new members and volunteers. This will be a great opportunity to learn about all the wonderful organizations and non-profits in your area.

What are you passionate about? How do you want to help give back? What activity allows you to feel your best? Come discover- by joining us at this season’s Community Program Registration and Volunteer Recruitment Night. We look forward to meeting you!
